Abstract
Tahfiz education has increasingly gained attention in the context of human capital development and the integration of educational technology. However, comprehensive literature on the approaches, challenges, and teaching models in tahfiz education remains limited. This study employs the PRISMA methodology (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) to assess, screen, and analyze tahfiz-related articles published between 2015 and 2024. From an initial screening of 312 articles, 20 were identified as relevant following the PRISMA process. The findings highlight three main themes: (i) traditional and modern tahfiz pedagogical strategies, (ii) integration of technology in tahfiz teaching, and (iii) challenges in implementing hybrid models. This study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the development of tahfiz education and provides recommendations for the advancement of effective hybrid teaching models.
